  • 250 grams paneer.
  • 2 tablespoons oil.
  • 2 small onion.
  • 2 medium tomatoes.
  • 2 small tablespoon ginger-garlic paste.
  • 1 big tablespoon red green chili.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin/jeera seeds.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder.
  • 1 teaspoon coriander/dhaniya powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric/haldee powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon paneer garam masala.
  • use Salt to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves/dhanie ke patte.

Instructions to make:

1. Heat oil in pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds/jeera and let them splutter.

2. Add chopped onions after fry cumin/ sauté until they turn translucent.

3. Add ginger-garlic paste/adarak-lahasun paste and chopped green chili/green chili souse.

4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy and the oil starts separating from the masala.

5. Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder/haldee powder, and salt, coriander powder. you can mix in 2-3 min.

6. Add the cubed paneer/fry paneer to the masala mixture and gently mix to coat the paneer pieces with the masala. Be careful paneer can not to break.

7. you can add a little water if the masala is too thick/darck gravy. Cover with plate and cook for 10 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to meld together.

8. Finally, sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves on top. Give it a gentle/stir.

9. Turn off the heat and transfer the paneer masala to a serving dish/plates.

10. Serve hot with naan roti/tandoori roti.
